Lanai and Pool EnclosuresPool Cage and Lanai Lighting

Most screened pool cages in Tampa Bay go dark at night except for one ceiling fan light. Tropical Paralights lights the cage, deck and seating areas so your lanai is comfortable to use after sunset, with warm white for every day and color when you want it.

Three zones most lanais need

First, soft, even light along the cage beams so the whole enclosure is visible. Second, a brighter, dimmable zone over the table or outdoor kitchen. Third, low light at the steps and edges of the deck so nobody trips.

Underwater pool lights are normally your pool contractor's work. We light everything around them so the pool and lanai look like one space.

Why less light looks better

Too much light inside a cage turns the screen into a mirror, so you can't see the yard, and it draws bugs to the screen. Light aimed down and kept dim lets you see out and keeps the space comfortable.

We also keep light off the panels that face neighbors, which matters in communities with close lots and HOA rules.

Holding up to heat, humidity and storms

Lanais deal with heat, humidity and chlorine or salt in the air. We mount on solid framing, use outdoor-rated Haven Lighting products and route wiring so it is protected and out of sight.

When screens are replaced after a storm, the lighting should not be in the way. We plan mounting so a rescreen doesn't mean starting over.

Design visit, quote and warranty

We look at your cage, power, seating layout and what you see from inside the house, then send a clear written quote. Our installation work carries a six-month labor warranty, and the products carry the manufacturer's warranty, which is about one year on most items.

We are a new, locally owned company run by licensed and insured exterior contractors based in Wesley Chapel.

A little clarity

Questions, answered.

Can the lanai lights change color?

Yes. App scenes let you switch from warm white to party colors or holiday themes.

Will cage lights attract bugs?

Bright light aimed outward draws more bugs. Warm, dimmable light aimed down inside the cage keeps that to a minimum.

Do you install underwater pool lights?

Those are normally handled by your pool contractor. We light the cage, lanai, deck and surrounding yard.

Can you add lighting to an older cage?

Usually. We check that the framing is sound enough to mount on during the visit.
